Wigs With Lex is more than a business to me. It’s a part of my story, my journey, and everything I’ve had to overcome to become who I am today.
Growing up, I experienced bullying and spent a lot of time feeling like I didn’t fit in. I started isolating myself and avoiding meeting new people because I was scared I wouldn’t be accepted, liked, or understood. I became so used to protecting myself from rejection that sometimes it felt easier to stay to myself than to let people get to know the real me.
Then came the battles I’ve faced with my hair and my alopecia journey, which brought its own challenges. There have been times when my confidence was low and I struggled with how I saw myself. I’ve had to learn, little by little, that what I’ve been through does not determine my worth.
And honestly, I’m still overcoming things. I’m still growing, healing, learning, and becoming more confident in who I am. Starting Wigs With Lex is a part of that journey for me.
I’ve always wanted to share my story because I want other women to know that they are not alone. Whether you have alopecia or you’re facing something completely different, I want you to feel like you have somewhere to come where you’ll be understood.
I know what it feels like to question yourself. I know what it feels like to wonder if people will accept you. And I know what it feels like to hide parts of yourself because you’re afraid of what people might think.
But I also want to remind you of something I’m learning for myself:
You are worth it. 🤍
You are worthy of love. You are worthy of confidence. You are worthy of being seen, heard, accepted, and celebrated exactly as you are.
Your struggles are a part of your story, but they don’t have to define your future.
Wigs With Lex was created from something deeply personal, and my hope is that it becomes more than a place to shop for wigs. I want it to be a place where women can feel beautiful, confident, understood, and reminded that they never have to face their journey alone.
If sharing my story can help even one woman feel less alone or find a little more confidence in herself, then everything I’ve been through will have a greater purpose.
Thank you for being here and for being a part of my journey.
